Memorial day is more than a day off, or a day to BBQ, or a day at the beach, memorial day is a time to show our patriotism, a time to remember those who fought and died for our country. They serve so that we may live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. We honor you for giving us your ultimate sacrifice...your lives! Thank you!

On our way to church on Sunday...The Lord our God is one Lord: these words teach them diligently unto thy children Deuteronomy 6:4-7 Katie Bug and Cristian, he is the complete opposite of Tommy.

Wild Child Tommy

My youngest grandson, Tommy I love him dearly, however, I sure am glad Iam not his mommy... she gets to take him when I am done loving on him.
He is so wild that I pray the Lord to bestow grace on his parents when he is a teen.

My Joy!

These are my 3 youngest grandchildren, from left to right, Cristian, Katie in the back and wild child, Tommy on the right.

Please pray

He will light the way and shine blessings upon us!
My dear friend and hairdresser is having surgery today. Please pray for her so that the good Lord shines blessings in that operating room.
I will not name her, however, the Bible says, "The Lord knew us by name since we were in our mother's womb. What an awesome God we have! Please pray for her!
Blessings to all!

Sunday

This is Angie, our first born granddaughter. Angie will be graduating this summer from middle school.
This morning, in church, was super special. We had a couple of teenage girls that dedicated their life to the Lord. It is such an inspiration to see our youth step forward and make the choice to follow Christ.
The Lord inspired our pastor to make a call to each one of us that complain on how bad things are, to take a stance and do something, rather than complain with our hands folded.
We can all do something, and if we can't... we can always PRAY!
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14
What an incredible promise the Lord has given us in this verse!
Have a fantabulous week!

cont. Scrapbook room

Toys and toys and more toys! I only have one Cricut Expression, the picture loaded twice. Sometime I will come back and delete it.
I store the pictures I will be working with in these "Photo Storage" boxes. If you look carefuly I have placed a picture of my subject in front of each box. Inside the boxes I have sorted the pictures by holidays, school and ages. I have been putting away pictures that I want to scrap for38 years. Do you think I will finish them in my life time?

I love this slide out work space.
My All-in One Kodak printer. I highly recommend this printer, it is so easy that even I understand it.

Reality check "The Queen Never Bargains" On the right are my flowers sorted by color and size.
This is a tie hanger that works great for scissors.
Punches.
The cute blue little purse is a Sizzix "Textured Boutique" for embossing. Next to it is my Xyron Design Runner and it's companion, the blank disk maker. Even though I have an Expression Cricut I still kept my old Sizzix!
In the middle are my paints and Stickles. On the black hangers I usually preview my latest layouts.
These are my stamps.

New Scrapbook Room

I have a Cricut but I can not part from my original Sizzix. I have numerous alphabets, red dies, green dies, blue dies and numerous Sizzlits. For storing my ribbons I used a utility wire rack, it works well because I can just pull the ribbons out through thr slits.
Card stock, pattern paper and paper stacks. In the drawers I have sorted out several different embellishments and more...
Of course! I have to have a TV and laptop.
This is my scrapping partner, my beautiful "Bug" or better yet, my beautiful "Blue Butterfly". She has self named herself, Katie Bug and Blue Butterfly. To me she is precious!

Scrapbook Room

My husband brought his pruning scissors to cut the ribbon, I almost died laughing. See the pink oval shape sign in the back wall, it says, "GIRLS ONLY"
As my Mothers day present my husband remodeled my scrapbooking room. Our house is small so space is a big issue. This room used to be my dining room. I had to decide what was more important, eating or scrapbooking...scrapbooking won.:)
Present for the ribbon cutting ceremony were; my husband, our grown children, our son-in-law, Howard and all 4 of our grandchildren.
Katie, our youngest grandaughter, is my scrapbooking buddy, this is why you will see her helping to cut the ribbon.

Forever

This is our senior pastor and his wife. They are the perfect example of a life well lived for the Lord.

A Moment In Time

The year was 1973, we had been asked to walk my friend, Linda's wedding. I was so upset, because I had just given birth to Damaris, and in my mind (at the time) I was a blimp. Yes! I was a red head and my husband, he...had HAIR.
